My week in photos

It has been an extraordinary week. Extraordinarily busy.

In one week, I will have spent 5 nights in 4 different beds, travelled hundreds of miles by car and train and taken 1900 pictures.

For a few days I became part of the extraordinary team at Honeybuns shooting their entire product range for their new website, marketing material and everything else! And then from there to London for the MAD Blog Awards.

And went to bed with an award by my bed.

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!

I am so grateful for everyone who voted, I am over the moon! It feels like a dream.

You have all made me the happiest blogger in the world!!!!!!!!

The most extraordinary week!

New Jersey Adventure Part 3

Autumn feels like it has arrived. And although I was back in a jumper dress, leggings, long socks and boots yesterday, I have a couple of summer posts left to share.

So if it's dreary where you are, hopefully this post will cheer you up!

Oh and I am not quite ready to put all my flip flops in the loft just yet. My sister got married on the 10th October 2 years ago and it was almost the hottest day of the year!

Here is the last part of our New Jersey Summer Adventure when we stayed with my brother and sister in law.

1 week, 2 birthdays and this was the last couple of days. Celebrating my little brother's 28th on the boardwalk, a chance visit to a New Jersey thrift store (I'll save my purchases for #SundayPropShop) and soaking up those simple moments at home together.

We are now counting down to Christmas Eve when they land at Heathrow!

You can read Part 1 here and Part 2 - my birthday here

Somerset Flower Farm

There is a hidden treasure near Wrington, in Weston super Mare.

The most idyllic flower farm, growing beautiful blooms for florists and brides to be in a hidden field in Somerset.

Except this is a flower farm with a little something extra. In amongst the buckets of stems are vintage gems. China, baskets, crates, everything a lover of pretty things could ask for!

The friendly farmers explained to the boys how flowers really grow, let them eat an apple straight off the tree and even showed them the tiny turkeys that were due to join the flowers in the field next door. The boys were a little perplexed at the thought of eating these tiny creatures for their Christmas lunch!

The farm shop had a butcher's counter bursting with organic meats of all descriptions.

There is something special about buying produce straight from a farm shop.

All the flowers are organically grown so could be used to pretty up any recipe.  Flowers look amazing in petal ice lollies!

A lovely Enid Blyton kind of afternoon and we got to take home 5 sweet stems to remember our trip by.

If you get a chance to pop along and are after some flowers, vintage treasures or farm shop goodies you can find them here. The Somerset Flower Farm.
