I am trying to get to grips with my nifty fifty. My 50mm lens since my 17-85mm has decided to pack up. A perfect excuse - link up with One Week. I had a small squash left over from the Halloween bell jar display and I love the way you can change the photograph so dramatically with the focal points. It is definitely an art getting used to life without a zoom but I am determined to crack the basics!

A fairytale story this morning at Uphill Nature Reserve. A young fair maiden rescued at the top of the tower by her knight in shining armour!

It was no easy task avoiding one thousand cow pats and then the cows themselves but it was all worthwhile, when he was rewarded with a kiss!
