9 months too late - what I wish we had done

My husband sent me this link earlier to a video that a father had made of his daughter. He videoed her in the same place every week until she was 12 and has made a fantastic video montage. Lots of people take photos every week, probably without realising it, but it takes some serious dedication to remember to take a video in the same spot and then edit it all! I wish I had seen this when I was pregnant with small boy, I would have loved to have made a video of him, to see how he is changing, as often you don't see it when you are with them everyday.

I also wish we had set him up a Facebook page on the day he was born. We kept saying we must do that! How wicked would it have been to have had a timeline that goes back to your date of birth when you are older?!

Shoulda, coulda, woulda!

The next thing I think of I am just going to do!

Mama's Monday Must Do - Big boy's birthday

My darling baby boy is turning 3 next month! 3! How did he or I for that matter get so old! He is having a super pets party! I have booked a local mobile petting zoo, hired the bouncy castle and bought the invitations. Yes I know I probably should have made them, but they were so fab I couldn't have made better. There is a whole range of Wonder Pets party ware, 3 small animals who save the world's baby animals in trouble!

The only thing I must do this week is write them and send them! Or we won't have any small guests!

I've also sussed out at the local fabric shop that I can make 2 capes from a metre of fabric and they have got 4 different colours in the cheapest plain fabric.

So we will be making capes at the party! Buying the material is next week's job to do!

So tonight I shall be writing out the date, time and place 22 times!

Quick and easy dribble bibs!

I know there are lots of swanky dribble bibs available to buy but to be honest I really can't stand spending lots of money on something that just gets soaked in spit all day! Dribble bibs are a must for teething babes and so I decided to make some really easy ones from an old baby towel!

It is the perfect material - so absorbent and you can pick up iron on decals from any haberdashery so you can personalised them with whatever you want! I chose some baby buttons in different shapes but I bet everyone has a few buttons lying around.

Trace, cut out, sew on the button and cord and then iron on your decal! Done!

Let the dribbling commence!
