Come home my precious boy
sign.jpg

Big boy came home in a special "hello world" all in one, that I had washed and ironed and packed and unpacked and packed again. Just for the fun of packing a tiny coming home outfit! Small boy came home in the one and only blue baby gro that I had packed (we didn't know what flavour he was!) that was my favourite from when big boy was tiny. I had such an overwhelming feeling he was going to be a little boy that I packed a blue one just in case!

Instead of photographing him in his coming home outfit from 5 different angles, I took one quick photo of him ready to go with balloons strapped to his car seat!

Poor second boy!

Fantasy furniture

I have fallen in love with my friend's new shop Simply Gorgeous. Hand painted furniture that she so talented, strips, sands and paints herself. On my very first sneak peek, just before she opened I bought this old sewing station!

Well I justified it, by asking my husband for it for my birthday next month, but as it's already in the lounge I am hoping he's forgotten and picked something off my Pinterest wish list board!

Just along from Southbourne, where my grandparents have had a flat for the past 35 years, is the quaint town of ChristChurch, built around a Priory. I picked up this leaflet in Thomas and Lucia for furniture painting workshops. I wish I had the talent to strip back and revive old furniture, and even more, I wish we lived nearer, so I could attend one of the workshops!

At the local car boot sale this Sunday (I had to get the kids out for half an hour whilst my husband loaded the car with old junk from the garage to head to the recycling centre) I spotted this sweet little cabinet.

£1!

I am going to use it as my first attempt at painting my own! Shame really as I love the colour! Typical!

Me and My Shadow

Mama's Monday Must Do

Today, I shot my first set of office photographs for a Recruitment Company specialising in Financial Services. My good friend works at the company and recommended me which was so lovely!

I am so pleased at the way they have come out. I tried a few different angles and took my dressing room chair which matched the pink in their logo perfectly!

So this week's Mama's Monday Must Do, is to finish editing them and send off the cd, so they can get them onto their new website!
