I am completely heartbroken for the parents of April Jones. The not knowing and desperation they must be feeling has to be excruciatingly painful. My thoughts and prayers are with them and all I hope that they get their little girl back.

Wherever she is, just be found.

The world is full of horrible creatures. I can't understand what drives a person to do one of the worst things imaginable.

Today my blog bears a pink ribbon for a beautiful little girl.

No I am not auditioning for the local Amateur Dramatics society, (although I can see that making a nice retirement hobby) we are off to Penzance in a few weeks for our friend's 30th. It's a pirate themed affair and every party costume store I have been into or online sells only sexy pirate wench outfits!

My body is so past the stage of sexy wench more like haggered mother of two!

I tried to think of an alternative costume idea (we once had a party for my husband's birthday and someone came as a flag and another as a parrot!) and found these lovely skull print dresses!

I am thinking a skull dress, pirate hat and a swashbuckling plastic sword from the boy's dressing up box!

Which one would you go for or am I playing it too safe?!
