Camera Christmas List

Big boy has come home from pre school with not 1 but 4 Christmas wish lists! Armed with a home store catalogue, scissors and glue, he has stuck down loads of ideas, which mostly feature super heroes! Only seems fair to create one of my own!

I am hoping Father Christmas may have taken a sneaky look at my Pinterest board, he's very clever you know!

My Camera Christmas list:

1 - Darling little camera bauble.

2 - The Diana F+ tote, loud and proud!

3 - Camera bauble from Pottery Barn - sold out! Boo!

4 - A festive lens pet from Mandee Franee

5 - Lens baby - see for yourself here.

6 - A sweet stamp which almost matches my logo! (I have to confess I have had this as an early present!)

7 - La Sardina El Capitan - an awesome lomography camera.

8 - Girly pouch for spare lenses.

9 - Olloclip iPhone lens. Seriously cool.

Apart from a healthy and happy new year what else is on your wish list?!

My family favourites

On Saturday we met the very talented Claire from Blue Daisy Photography for our family photo session. She instantly put Sammy at ease and he performed brilliantly! Ollie decided he was going to be a Dada's boy and clung to my husband, (complete with sticky out hair) but despite that Claire managed to get us some magical photos, of a precious time in our young family lives.

She perfectly captured the winter haze of sun and we finally have a set of family photographs to adorn our walls/Christmas cards/Christmas presents!

The only thing left to say is book her! We are already looking forward to a summer shoot!

Ps Have you ever met someone and thought, this person is so up my street it is fate we met! I hope I have made a new friend!

A Mistletoe Hunt
mistletoe-hunt-9.jpg

I have been promising the boys all week we would find some real mistletoe to hang by the door. My boys are big on kisses so any excuse for some more goes down well! Little Christmas Tree road side shops have popped up all over the place and we met the sweetest farmer at the one opposite the CourtHouse.

I made a little quiz book from luggage tags and we asked the farmer lots of questions, including where does it grow, what does it smell like, what colour is it and what is it for!

Big boy came out with some classics! Apparently mistletoe smells like bananas! The farmer explained that it grows on trees, often on apple trees and that children have to be very careful as the berries are poisonous. We filled the passenger foot well of the car with a huge bunch for £2 and will hang it in the porch for all our Christmas visitors!

Big kisses to everyone this Christmas time! xxxxx
