I am inspired by friends who combined a need to help with their love for food, and I know that we are lucky to have such support within the food photography communities all over the world.
I wanted to do something to help by using my little voice in the photography world to help highlight the incredible passion of the people raising much needed funds for a desperately important cause.
The world is coming together to do any small or big thing they can to make a real, immediate difference.

What do you think of when you see green? Is it pea shoots, is it the deepest darkest green of the head of a broccoli or the lightest shade of a blade of grass in the summer sun? When I created this backdrop, I saw Matcha powder. Except this backdrop has the whole process. The shade over the green tea plants for the three weeks before they are harvested. The steams and veins in the leaves are left in to give the backdrop texture and depth. Swathes of light and dark from Pistachio to Chartreuse, from Mantis to Malachite.
