60 second celebration tree!
tree-1.jpg

This is the easiest but most effective party centrepiece I have ever done! I made a wedding wish tree and place card tree for my sister's and best friend's wedding a couple of years ago but after a lot of hunting in the garage I realised I may have chucked out the twisted willow!

Off I went to the local garden centre and bought a huge piece almost 6 feet wide!

I cut off a small knobbly branch at the bottom and sat it in one of my big vases and ta da! I hung some chocolate medals off the branches and some paper fan decorations in the Olympic colours!

It really has the wow factor with minimal effort required!

Perfect for small boy's Olympic party tomorrow and I can reuse the willow for Christmas, Easter and other birthdays!

Sweet tables - My Current Crush

I am completely obsessed with the American style sweet tables! I have pulled all sorts of ideas together for small boy's party on Saturday and have collected every glass jar we have in the house (which was frighteningly quite a few!) and arranged them all ready to take to the party!

Luckily, there are not many children going as I know it seems mad to have glass for a children's party! But they look lovely!

I have taken a twist on the owl tree in one of the photos below and made my own medal tree! After all it is an Olympics Party!

I also brought home from America a suitcase full of gum balls and candy sticks! I can't wait to post some photos after the party of my very own sweet table!

My current crush with Danielle at Framed Frosting!
