This is a great way to capture your growing family and something you can repeat every year, if you wanted to see how they have grown!

If you do not have a screen, no problem, just use a sheet or towel under you!

I have a selection of flashcard alphabets for my family photography and these are my favourite! Animal Fun by Junzo Terada. Two sided and such lovely colours. One side is just the letter and the other is an illustration.

Alphabet building blocks look great too. Plus you don't have to worry about everyone smiling at the same time. A great family photo that is fun and hassle free. (Well if you can get them not to wriggle!)

I have always wanted a traditional typewriter and fell in love with this turquoise number, when it flashed up on eBay.

My lovely sister in law sent me some birthday money, so with one click and one bid I held my breath!

It arrived yesterday and I am desperate to get a new ribbon in it, so I can get tapping away!

My brother was so thoughtful and sent me this brilliant photo tutorial of learning the key locations, from a fab website Machines of Loving Grace.

I can't get that song 'Sweet Child of Mine' out of my head except I keep singing sweet typewriter of mine!

I have a bit of a thing at the moment about wooden wings. I adore them! I have always had these Cox and Cox pair on my never ending wish list, but to my horror, I checked the other day and they are no longer available! Luckily eBay has a pair new for the same price so added to my 'wish list'! Hopefully Father Christmas will read it!

I love the idea of hanging them above the bed head. The chaise longue sofa bed, we bought for my office, is a perfect width to have them above. Only 130 days until Christmas!

If I was really brave, I could make my own, but after reading this post from Let it Shine I am not sure I have the talent!
